Day 7 – Upgrade Your Peer Group
“You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.” Jim Rohn
Jim could not be any closer to the truth. Look who your 5 best friends and family are. If your 5 best friends are negative, guess what? You become negative person number 6. Are they heavy drinkers with no motivation? You guessed it, you become number 6.
Sometimes we need to reassess our friends and family and get rid of those who are holding us back. The jealous ones, the negative ones, the ones who play the victim. You don’t need that and you can’t move forward while they are still a big part of your life.
What the video below.
Also I would love you to check out my new book – Do I Have to Cry to say Goodbye?
It is the story of my life and how I managed to survive losing my daughter Holly to SIDS when she was only 5 months old.
It will make you cry for sure, It will also make you laugh. But the most important thing is it will inspire you. So many funny stories, sad stories and inspiration. It truly will change who you are.
Here are a couple of testimonials
“Once I started reading this book, I could not stop. I read it in one night. I loved reading about how your parents met, your childhood, the love you had and still have for Holly, and the obstacles you had to face and overcame. Your emotions you poured out were exactly how I felt when I lost my twin boys. Thank you for writing this book Kevin!”
“Losing a child is the hardest challenge any parent would experience. And Kevin’s book has well-written the struggles of grieving for a child. I recommend this book to those who are having a hard time going through life after the lost of a child. Kevin lets you see what’s life before and after the death of his Holly and how you made it through until today. The path we have to take after losing a child would never be easy even after so many many years. But we sure would find meaning in our lives eventually. 5 stars for this book!”
